"OPEC+" oil production reduction plan

 2022-11-25

On the evening of the 21st local time, Saudi Energy Minister Abdul Aziz bin Salman denied to the outside world that Saudi Arabia was discussing with other oil producing countries to increase oil production recently.

The Saudi National News Agency quoted the Saudi Energy Minister as saying in the report that "OPEC+" will not "discuss any issues related to oil production" before the regular meeting, and the plan to reduce the daily output of "OPEC+" by 2 million barrels will continue until the end of 2023.

Previously, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) led by Saudi Arabia and Russia and other non OPEC oil producing countries agreed on October 5 to implement a 2 million barrel/day oil production reduction from November.
