Introduction to the synthesis of cyanoacetic acid
It is prepared from chloroacetic acid, sodium carbonate and sodium cyanide through neutralization, cyanidation and hydrochloric acid acidification. Add sodium carbonate suspension into chloroacetic acid, circulate and neutralize below 45 ℃ to pH=7.5-8, and obtain sodium chloroacetate solution after neutralization. Add the neutralization solution into the sodium cyanide solution at 105-115 ℃, carry out cyanidation, keep the temperature for 2-3 minutes to obtain sodium cyanoacetate, and then cool it to below 50 ℃. Put the sodium cyanoacetate into the dehydration pan for acidification with hydrochloric acid, and finally decompress and dehydrate to obtain finished cyanoacetic acid. Raw material consumption quota: chloroacetic acid (95%) 1240kg/t, sodium cyanide (96%) 710kg/t.
Use of cyanoacetic acid:
1. Organic synthesis intermediates, mainly used for the synthesis of cyanoacetate, also used for production α Methyl cyanoacrylate and n-butyl ester (medical adhesive), vitamin B6, caffeine, barbital, etc.
2. It is used for organic synthesis, and used to produce caffeine in medicine.
